Description
Rooted in a tradition established in Asti in 1891, the NV Cocchi Americano Rosa – half bottle, Piedmont, Italy reflects the legacy of Giulio Cocchi and a period when aromatized wines held a central place in regional production. The base wine is sourced from Piedmont vineyards on calcareous and marl-rich soils that support balanced growth, managed under sustainable guidelines through long-standing grower partnerships. After vinification in stainless steel, the wine is infused with a defined set of botanicals, including herbs and citrus elements obtained through the producer’s historical supply networks. Maceration is carried out in controlled batches, and the assembled blend rests briefly before bottling to ensure even integration of components. Americano Rosa sits within Cocchi’s broader program dedicated to traditional aromatized wines, aligning historical preparation methods with careful raw-material selection and precise, technique-driven production.
