Description
Chardonnay grown in premier cru villages forms the base of the NV Pierre Gimonnet Champagne Brut Premier Cru Rosé de Blancs, complemented by a measured addition of still Pinot Noir from long term grower partners. The Chardonnay component is sourced from parcels in Cuis and neighboring crus, where fine chalk soils and moderated slopes promote slow ripening and balanced acidity. Vineyard work emphasizes canopy alignment and soil vitality to maintain consistency across the vintages contributing to the blend. Lots are vinified separately in stainless steel before Pinot Noir is incorporated to define color and structure. Secondary fermentation and extended lees aging follow to support integration. Within the Gimonnet range, Rosé de Blancs reflects the estate’s parcel driven blending philosophy and guides decisions around Pinot Noir sourcing, reserve wine management, and continued refinement of Chardonnay based rosé expressions.
