Description
A multi vineyard blend built to remain consistent from year to year defines the NV Pol Roger Champagne Brut Réserve, the house’s principal non vintage cuvée and a staple within the portfolio. Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay are sourced from roughly thirty vineyards spread across Champagne, with parcels spanning chalk, clay, and limestone that contribute complementary structural elements. Sustainable farming is coordinated through a network of growers, with emphasis placed on yield control and precision at harvest to protect base wine balance. Vinification is carried out in stainless steel, and a significant share of reserve wines is incorporated to maintain continuity across releases and buffer seasonal variation. After secondary fermentation, the wine undergoes extended lees aging in the deep chalk cellars at Épernay, exceeding regional minimum requirements and supporting integration without sacrificing clarity. Brut Réserve serves as the foundation of the Pol Roger program, bringing multiple sites and vintages into alignment through methodical blending and long established traditional production practice.
