Roosevelt Vineyard is rooted in marine sedimentary soils formed from uplifted seabed, a fast-draining base that limits vigor, while elevation contributes cooler nights that steadily temper ripening. Farming is entirely manual with restrained inputs, and canopy management is adapted to block orientation. Fruit is harvested in small lots and fermented in open-top vessels, with extraction calibrated to the vintage’s structural character. Maturation follows in French oak, with cooperage chosen to support gradual integration.
