The vineyard sits on alluvial terraces built from sand, stone, and calcareous material, a free-draining mix that supports gradual ripening under the area’s pronounced temperature swings. In the dry mountain setting, management centers on precision practices including careful shoot positioning, regulated deficit irrigation, and sustainable ground cover to sustain vine balance and maintain functional soils. Grapes are hand harvested, then fermented in small stainless steel tanks, with extraction calibrated to the firm structural profile associated with high-elevation Cabernet Franc.
