Predominantly south and southwest exposures capture additional light reflected from the Mosel, extending ripening and supporting measured development in this river corridor. Farming is necessarily manual and follows sustainable practices, with selective picking carried out over multiple passes to track ripeness across the slope. Grapes are pressed as whole clusters, and fermentation advances with native yeasts in stainless steel and large neutral casks, keeping the process focused on sequencing and site clarity. The Spätlese designation is framed here as harvest timing aligned with ripeness rather than sweetness intent.
